Product Description
Flexible, modified PVC-based waterstops manufactured in special profiles to ensure the watertightness of construction and expansion joints when concrete is poured. They are available in different sizes and types depending on the application area.

Application Instructions
Waterstops Installed Inside Concrete: Installation at the center of concrete elements.
TEKNOMER WATERSTOP TAPES can be easily secured to the reinforcement within the concrete using the holes provided at specific intervals along the tape.
Surface-Applied Waterstops: Can be applied to formwork or blinding concrete surfaces.
Welding: Since TEKNOMER WATERSTOP TAPES are made of thermoplastic PVC, they can be easily joined using hot-air welding. The edge sections (available for each type) should be secured in the welding mold and precisely cut. The cut ends should then be welded using suitable welding equipment until a smooth, molten PVC surface is formed. The welding machine should be removed and the molten edges should be pressed firmly together. The welding temperature should be approximately (+)200°C.
Application Notes / Limitations
•Waterstops must not be applied to concrete surfaces in applications exposed to negative water pressure.
•Must be protected from UV radiation during storage.
•Store in unopened packaging, in a dry environment, at a maximum temperature of (+)30°C.
