BTM Kiremitaltı is a waterproofing membrane with a cellulose fiber or glass-fiber carrier, manufactured from oxidized bitumen, with a polyethylene film on the underside and a polypropylene scrim-coated upper surface, applied using large-head nails.

AREAS OF USE

Used beneath roofing materials such as roof tiles on pitched roofs for waterproofing purposes.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The application surface must be free of dust, dirt, rust, and oil, and loose particles must be removed.

APPLICATION METHOD
BTM Waterproofing Membrane Kiremitaltı is installed over the roof decking, parallel to the direction of the gutter and starting from the lowest level, using large-head nails. As the installation progresses upward, the membrane should be overlapped by 10 cm, covering the entire surface in this manner.

PACKAGING
BTM Waterproofing Membrane Kiremitaltı is supplied in rolls measuring 1 m in width and 10 m in length.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE
The rolls should be stored upright in covered areas. If the rolls need to be stored outdoors for an extended period, they must be covered to protect them from sunlight.
Bituminous membranes must not be stacked on top of each other.
