BDB15 JOINT TAPE
A self-adhesive tape made of specially formulated bitumen with enhanced adhesion, laminated with a flexible and high-strength polymer
film carrier.

AREAS OF USE
-At the junctions between bitumen-based liquid-applied waterproofing materials (BT2K600, BT2K500, etc.) and
polymer-bitumen waterproofing membranes (Elastobit, Plastobit, Polibit, Levobit, etc.) on foundation walls
-For ensuring watertightness,
-At roof ridge joints,
-For waterproofing and repairing wood, metal, glass, plaster, concrete, brick, roof tiles, and asphalt-based materials.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The application surface must be dry and clean, and free from oil, rust, silicone, and dirt.
APPLICATION METHOD
At temperatures of 10°C and below, it is recommended to heat both the tape and the application surface using hot-air equipment
during application. In the area where the tape will be bonded, it is recommended to burn off and remove the polyethylene
film on the polymer-bitumen membrane. During application, the siliconized release film on the underside of the joint tape
is peeled off, and the product is applied directly to the prepared surface. After application, pressure should be applied to the product surface using a silicone
roller to ensure complete adhesion without leaving any air bubbles. BTM BDB-15
joint tape is bonded to both surfaces, centered over the aluminum strip. A minimum adhesion width of 5 cm on each side must be maintained with liquid-applied and polymer-
bitumen membrane materials.
PACKAGING
Supplied in rolls measuring 15 cm in width and 20 m in length.
