Teknokür 105 Acrylic Concrete Curing Compound
Product Description
It is an acrylic emulsion-based curing compound applied after concrete, screed, and cement-based surface hardener applications. By forming a film layer on the surface, it prevents rapid evaporation of the mixing water and reduces shrinkage and the risk of cracking. ASTM C 309 Type 2 Class A
Areas of Use
• Applied to freshly poured concrete and all surface hardener applications for concrete curing.
• Parking areas, garages, material storage areas, factories, and shopping centers with heavy pedestrian traffic,
• All types of engineering structures such as highways, dams, metro systems, tunnels, and bridges,
• Concrete road applications,
• Industrial structures, aircraft hangars, apron areas, helicopter landing pads, and similar areas.
Properties and Advantages
• More effective and economical than curing methods such as covering with wet materials and water curing.
• Can be applied to all types of concrete surfaces.
• Reduces cracking caused by plastic shrinkage.
• Reduces the risk of shrinkage and crack formation.
• Provides a harder, dust-free surface.
• Since it contains no solvents, it can be easily applied in both interior and exterior areas.
• Retains water within the concrete and ensures maximum strength development.
• Provides a more effective and economical alternative to curing methods such as burlap, canvas, and water curing.
Application Instructions
When curing is carried out in open areas, the application surface must be protected from external factors for 24 hours. Protective gloves, goggles, and a mask should be worn during application. Due to the irritating effects of the materials, components must not come into contact with the skin or eyes. In case of contact, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap; if swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Concrete in open areas without any coating must also be cleaned of foreign substances that may prevent adhesion before application. The surface must be sound and free from loose or unstable particles.
