Product Description
Teknoil is a mineral oil-based form release agent used for easy removal of wooden and steel formwork after concrete casting and for obtaining smooth concrete surfaces. It is resistant to curing temperatures.
Areas of Use
• Particularly suitable for smooth, low-absorbency or non-absorbent formwork,
• Steel, plastic, and plywood formwork,
• Applications where increased formwork efficiency is required,
• Accelerating formwork operations.

Application Instructions
Surface Quality: Surfaces must be clean, smooth, sound, and free from dust, oil, dirt, rust, form-release agents, detergents, and similar substances or residues that may prevent adhesion. Weak sections must be removed. The surface must be dry.
Surface Preparation: Any tie wire, cement bag paper, pieces of wood, or similar materials on the formwork must be removed. There must be no standing water on the surface. Appropriate spacers should be selected before reinforcement is installed and kept ready for use on site.
Mixing: The product should be briefly shaken in a clean container free from any substances that may prevent adhesion or in its original packaging. It can be applied by roller, brush, or spray. TEKNOİL should be applied evenly as a thin layer. Oil pooling must not occur on the formwork. Any accumulated oil should be removed using a sponge, cloth, or similar material.
Cleaning: After application, the product must be protected from adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong winds, high air temperatures (above +35°C), rain, and frost. Areas of skin that come into contact with the product and hands should be cleaned with water and detergent.
Application Notes / Limitations
• The product may cause skin irritation upon contact. Work clothing, protective gloves, a mask, and goggles should be used. A protective cream may also be applied to the hands before starting work. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with lukewarm water and seek medical attention.
• Do not add any foreign materials.
• A preliminary test is recommended before use.
