Product Description

Application Instructions
Surface Preparation: The application surface must be cleaned from dust, oil, curing agent, detergent, mold oils and silicone, etc.

snowy surfaces, and in rainy weather.
Cleaning: After application, it should be protected from adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35°C),
rain and frost. Before the product is fully cured and hardens,
hands should be cleaned with water and detergent.
Application Notes / Limitations
• TEKNOMER DILATATION TAPE is cut with scissors or
a utility knife according to the length of the expansion (dilatation) joint to be applied. If desired, a polyethylene wick larger than the expansion width is placed in the joint.
• It is pulled out slightly upwards to make a curve. Mix two-component epoxy-based TEKNOBOND 400 D.
Apply to both concrete surfaces with a trowel.
• The surface of TEKNOMER EXTENSION BAND is cleaned by wiping it with a small amount of thinner and placed on the expansion joint in a curved manner. If additional tape is to be applied, the overlaps are placed at least 10 cm above
one another. After melting the overlaps by applying hot air to the upper and lower sides,
the joint is made.
• It should be seen that TEKNOBOND 400 D is coming up from the holes on the sides of TEKNOMER EXTENSION BAND. After the first layer of TEKNOBOND 400 D hardens, the second layer is applied.
• The product should be removed from its packaging when it is to be used. Care should be taken not to damage the structure of the product with piercing and cutting tools before and after application.
