Bonus XPS
Bonus XPS thermal insulation boards are thermoplastic materials manufactured and used for thermal insulation, featuring a homogeneous cellular structure. Polystyrene is the main raw material, while cell-forming agents, flame retardants, pigments, and environmentally friendly gases are used in their production. The cells are interconnected on all sides.
Bonus XPS is a thermal insulation brand based on rigid polystyrene (extruded polystyrene) with high compressive strength.
XPS Properties
-Has a lower thermal conductivity coefficient compared to other thermal insulation materials.
-Features a closed-cell structure.
-Provides consistent and non-decreasing thermal conductivity values thanks to its low water absorption.
-Its high compressive and flexural strength prevents thickness reduction over time. (100-700 kPa)
-Does not absorb water and has high freeze-thaw resistance even when immersed in water.
-Has a high modulus of elasticity and dimensional stability.
-Provides a µ-value suitable for its application area thanks to its optimum vapor diffusion resistance.
