Thermal Insulation Board
Definition:
Manufactured from Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), it is a graphite-enhanced, gray thermal insulation board.
It provides high thermal insulation performance and offers 20% better thermal insulation performance compared to white EPS thermal insulation boards. No gases harmful to human health or the environment are used in its production.
Properties:
Its gray color comes from the graphite additive it contains. Thanks to the graphite additive, it absorbs and reflects solar radiation at the same time. Due to this property, it provides better thermal insulation performance compared to other gray EPS thermal insulation boards that do not contain graphite.
Thanks to its high flexibility, it does not break or crumble during cutting and can be easily applied to walls.
It does not retain water on its surface, has enhanced water-repellent properties, and features a very low water absorption rate. (WL(T) 2 ≤ 2%).
It maintains its dimensional stability throughout the service life of the building. No gases harmful to human health or the environment are used in its production.
Application Area:
Used for external thermal insulation of building walls, as well as thermal insulation applications on terraces, pitched roofs, and cold storage facilities. It is particularly preferred for passive house applications.
Storage Information:
Store in a cool, well-ventilated, and dry environment.
