The project aimed to transform approximately 75,000 m² of the 1.5 km-long Black Sea coastline of Hopa, Artvin, through land reclamation and strengthen it with social facilities such as cafes, concert areas, event spaces, shops, amusement parks, beaches, and a marina.
The coastline was connected to the municipal square and the main streets extending into the city. The municipal building and square were redesigned, while access to Şahintepesi was provided by an elevator, with restaurants overlooking the unique Black Sea scenery.
Hopa’s strategic location near the Georgian border gate was intended to be strengthened through these developments, transforming the area into a regional center. This project, which is awaiting implementation, was one of the projects we particularly enjoyed designing.
