Elastomeric rubber tapes, also known as edge tapes, are essential accessories for sound insulation systems. They are used as self-adhesive elastomeric sound-blocking and sound-absorbing tapes in all sound insulation applications where acoustic insulation and sound absorption are required.
When applied to the desired area, they provide highly effective sound absorption and sound isolation performance.
They are particularly used to prevent direct contact between plasterboard galvanized or metal profiles and the substrate, thereby reducing sound transmission.
