Cement 42.5
Structural Building Products
Cement is a binding material widely used in the construction industry.
Its main components include calcium, silicon, aluminum, and iron.
These components are ground and blended at high temperatures, and when subsequently mixed with water, they harden to form the primary binding component of concrete.
Cement is referred to as a hydraulic binder because it develops its binding properties through reaction with water.
The proportions of alkaline and hydraulic constituents determine the properties of the binding material.
After being mixed with water to form a plastic paste, cement gradually hardens over time in air or under water.
Different types of clinker are used in cement production.
Portland cement clinker is combined with gypsum, limestone, and natural pozzolanic trass.
To achieve high strength values, 12–20% natural pozzolanic trass is used.
42.5 cement is produced in the CEM II class and features strong binding properties.
It is known as blended cement and is preferred for its high strength.
It is produced in 25 kg and 50 kg bags.
